Grimes is speaking out after Elon Musk was seen bringing their 4-year-old child to the White House, calling it an inappropriate display that put their child in the public spotlight.
The musician criticized Musk for using their son as a “human shield” during his visit with President Donald Trump, insisting that children should be kept out of the public eye. She urged Musk to respect her wishes for privacy and to shield their family life from unnecessary exposure.
While Musk has remained silent on the controversy, many fans sided with Grimes, agreeing that it was time she spoke up.
During the press conference, the child was seen making faces, grabbing at his father, and even picking his nose while seated at the President’s desk. At one point, Trump appeared visibly frustrated, attempting to settle him down as Musk addressed the press.
This is not the first time Musk has brought his son to public events alongside Trump, with past appearances at rallies and the presidential inauguration.
Grimes, who shares multiple children with Musk, claimed she was unaware of the White House visit and only found out after seeing the footage on social media.
