Ashley St. Clair, the latest woman to reportedly have a child with tech billionaire Elon Musk, has been absent from social media for over a month, sparking concern and speculation among netizens. Some have even theorized that Musk might be involved in her sudden disappearance from X. St. Clair’s last post was on February 16, 2025, when she shared a photo of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sitting with a pen in hand. Weighing in on the political aspect, she captioned the post, “can u believe the nerve of this gold digger. [sic]”
Describing herself as an author and director on her X profile, St. Clair gained international attention after claiming she had given birth to Musk’s child. However, her prolonged silence has left many followers questioning her whereabouts.
Resharing her last post, one user commented, “I don’t want to alarm anyone, but [sic] she literally hasn’t posted anything since this.” Another person, sharing a screenshot of her profile, speculated, “Is Ashley St. Clair dead or put in a bunker somewhere? Dead air for over a month.”
Others voiced similar concerns, with one user pointing out, “It’s been a whole month since Ashley St. Clair’s last timeline post. Have we lost her?” Another even suggested, “Elon made Ashley St. Clair disappear.”
Tagging her account directly, a concerned follower asked, “What ever happened to Ashley St. Clair? She used to post about 50 times a day and now hasn’t posted in a month. Her last post was a month ago accusing Zelensky of being a gold digger. [sic]”
As speculation continues to grow, many remain eager for St. Clair to break her silence and address her extended absence.

Sharing a picture of St. Clair, one person questioned her whereabouts, while another uploaded a video of Elon Musk walking alongside Shivon Zilis, the mother of his four children, during a recent dinner with former President Donald J. Trump at Mar-a-Lago. The user urged someone to check on St. Clair, fueling further speculation.
Expressing concern, another X user wrote, “Are we gonna talk about how Ashley St. Clair’s stunt royally backfired and she’s been MIA for over a month?”
St. Clair first made headlines on Valentine’s Day when she announced the birth of her child in a statement on X. She captioned the post with the Latin phrase “Alea iacta est,” meaning “The die is cast,” a phrase attributed to Julius Caesar by the Roman historian Suetonius.
Her statement read, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”
She continued, “I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting.”
Following an influx of reactions, St. Clair returned to X the next day to express gratitude for the support. She noted that she wished she hadn’t needed to make a statement at all, believing such matters should be off-limits to journalists.
Since then, however, her absence from social media has only deepened the mystery surrounding her sudden silence.

St. Clair did reveal that she planned to take some time off to be with family and would be logging off X for a while. She pinned the post to her account for everyone to see.
Since revealing the birth of her child, the 26-year-old has sued Musk, 53, for sole custody of her child. In her petition, she claimed the Tesla CEO had seen the child, identified only as R.S.C., only three times since his birth in September 2024.

On February 25, Ashley St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, explained the reasoning behind her legal action. He emphasized, “This has never been about money for Ashley,” adding, “This is about safeguarding the best interests of Ashley and Elon’s child from a man who cannot be relied upon to communicate, let alone fulfill the role of a father consistently.”
Glicklich also accused the SpaceX CEO of spending more time on X, his social media platform, discussing the mothers of his children rather than directly engaging with them. He further stated, “We attempted to resolve this matter collaboratively with Mr. Musk, but successful co-parenting requires participation from both parents. He refused all conversations.”
Beyond her recent legal battle, St. Clair has made a name for herself as a children’s book author. Her most notable work, Elephants Are Not Birds, was published in collaboration with BRAVE Books and explores themes of identity from a conservative perspective.
Her latest revelation adds another dimension to Musk’s ever-evolving family saga, which spans over two decades.
Throughout the years, Elon Musk has fathered multiple children across various relationships. While some aspects of his personal life have remained private, others have drawn significant public attention.
His journey as a father began during his time at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, where he met Justine Wilson. Their relationship progressed swiftly, and following the sale of his first company, Zip2, they became engaged and married in 2000.

Elon Musk and Justine Wilson welcomed their first child, Nevada Alexander Musk, in 2002. However, tragedy struck when Nevada passed away at just 10 weeks old due to a sudden breathing issue. Despite paramedics reviving him, severe oxygen deprivation caused irreversible brain damage. After three days on life support, Elon and Justine made the heartbreaking decision to let him go, with Justine cradling him in his final moments.
Determined to grow their family, the couple turned to IVF, welcoming twins Griffin and Xavier in 2004, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian in 2006. However, as Elon’s career demands increased, so did the strain on their marriage, leading to their divorce in 2008. Despite the split, they agreed to share custody of their five children.
In 2022, their child Xavier legally changed her name and gender, becoming Vivian Jenna Wilson. In court documents, Vivian expressed, “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.” Her TikTok account, where she occasionally shares glimpses of her life, has since amassed hundreds of thousands of followers.
Musk’s family expanded again during his relationship with Canadian musician Claire Boucher, known as Grimes. In May 2020, they welcomed their son, X AE A-XII, often referred to as “X.” Grimes has spoken about X’s early fascination with technology, recalling how he once had a “three-day meltdown” after realizing his toy rocket did not match the design of a real SpaceX rocket.
In December 2021, Elon and Grimes welcomed a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl—nicknamed “Y”—via surrogate. Her existence was unexpectedly revealed when she was heard crying in the background of Grimes’ Vanity Fair interview. Their third child, Techno Mechanicus, or “Tau,” was disclosed in 2023 through Walter Isaacson’s biography of Musk, though little is publicly known about him.
During the same period, Musk fathered twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis in 2021. Their births remained private until court documents surfaced regarding a request to give them Musk’s surname while incorporating Zilis’ last name as a middle name. The twins were born just weeks before Exa, and their existence was later confirmed by Musk. In early 2024, Elon and Shivon had a third child, bringing his known total to 12.
When asked about his ever-growing family, Musk has cited concerns over declining birth rates, explaining that he wants to have “as many [children] as” he can while still being present as a father. He has acknowledged the difficulties of staying connected with his older children, especially as they become more independent. “My eldest are off to college, and teenagers don’t want to spend much time with their parents. I wish they would (sigh),” he admitted.
Now, with Ashley St. Clair’s claim that Musk has fathered a 13th child, his family continues to expand. Despite his demanding professional life, Musk remains committed to involving his children in his world, frequently bringing X to business meetings and encouraging his kids’ interest in technology and space exploration.
St. Clair is not the only mother of Musk’s children to have faced difficulties with him in recent months. Grimes and Musk made headlines following her public plea for his attention regarding one of their children’s medical needs.
On February 20, 2025, in a series of now-deleted tweets, Grimes accused Musk of ignoring her calls during what she described as a “medical crisis.”
“I am sorry to do this publicly, but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention,” she wrote. “If you don’t want to talk to me, can you please designate or hire someone who can, so we can move forward on solving this? This is urgent, Elon.”
She added, “I’m not giving any details, but he won’t respond to texts, calls, or emails and has skipped every meeting. Our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he doesn’t respond ASAP, so I need him to [expletive] respond. If I have to apply public pressure, then I guess that’s where we are at.”
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, did not specify which of her three children needed urgent medical attention. The 36-year-old singer and Musk share two sons, X Æ A-Xii, 4, and Techno Mechanicus, 2, as well as a daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3.
Musk, 53, did not publicly respond to Grimes’ plea. Since then, she has continued posting on X, though some users have speculated that her previous posts were shadowbanned after they became difficult to find.

Others were puzzled by the absence of her comments on the platform, which is owned by Elon. The following day, Grimes explained that she was deleting her posts “because if they’re being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids.”
This isn’t the first time that the vocalist and businessman, who dated from 2018 to 2022, have clashed. On February 11, 2025, Elon brought X Æ A-Xii with him to the Oval Office, where they joined President Donald Trump for a media briefing to discuss the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
For the press briefing, Elon wore a long black coat over a dark outfit, accessorizing with a matching “Make America Great Again” cap. X Æ A-Xii was dressed in a beige overcoat with a navy blue ensemble underneath and wore a gold chain as he stood confidently beside his father.
The young boy appeared to entertain both Elon and Donald, who was seated at the Resolute Desk in a dark suit and blue tie. An X user who reacted to Elon’s son’s presence at the event wrote, “Lil X was very polite today! You raised him well. He was so cute when he told DJT ‘please [sic] forgive me, I need to pee.’🥰.”

The boy’s mother saw the post and revealed she wasn’t aware that her ex would be making a public appearance with their child. She responded by writing a now widely discussed message on X about it.
Grimes said, “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u [sic] for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”
When other social media users saw her post, they quickly shared their thoughts.

One supporter wrote, “No, he shouldn’t be. You need to get tough, girl. He’s your baby, not Elon’s pet,” while another noted, “Every time I see him, I wish he was with you, and his siblings. He has a great spirit. But I am worried for his influences and safety.”

Someone else remarked, “Is there anything you can do? It is quite disturbing that he uses X in that way. Trump seems to be getting annoyed too, not good for the kid to be in the middle of all this chaos.”

More people sided with Grimes as another netizen declared, “She’s right!” Taking to Facebook, someone reiterated, “She’s absolutely right, he’s a child, not a prop!!” Sharing the same sentiments, a commenter stated, “I’m actually with her on this one lol.”

Praising Grimes’ efforts to protect her child’s privacy, a supporter commended, “Yes mommy, take control of your baby!” At the same time, an unsurprised social media user shared, “Was expecting something like this!” Someone else defended the artist, writing, “She’s protecting her child. The child doesn’t need to be made a part of the spectacle that’s going on!”

Grimes has been keeping her distance from Elon ever since they broke up. She and the Tesla CEO welcomed X in 2020, with Elon sharing a photo of himself holding the newborn wrapped in a hospital blanket.
