Israel Accepts Trump’s Offer to Defeat Hamas as Deadline Looms

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue military operations in Gaza if all hostages are not freed by Saturday at noon, aligning with former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent warnings to Hamas.

Trump had issued a strong statement the day before, threatening severe consequences if the hostages were not released. He criticized Hamas for failing to comply with the ceasefire agreement, insisting that their release should have already happened.

Israel has warned that its response will escalate if the deadline is not met, though it has not specified how this will affect captives held within Gaza.

Meanwhile, Hamas has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement from the beginning, claiming that the country has blocked humanitarian aid from reaching civilians suffering from famine. The group also condemned Trump’s statements, arguing that his rhetoric further inflames an already tense situation.

With the deadline fast approaching, the conflict shows no signs of de-escalating, and global attention remains fixed on the next move from both sides.
