Elon Musk’s Transgender Daughter Accuses Grandfather Errol Musk of Racism

Vivian Wilson, Elon Musk’s 20-year-old transgender daughter, has publicly accused her grandfather, Errol Musk, of being racist in a series of social media posts that have since been deleted.

Wilson took to Instagram Threads on Monday to criticize Errol after he made headlines for calling Elon a bad father during an appearance on the Wide Awake podcast. In the interview, Errol also made controversial remarks about the death of Elon’s first son, Nevada, claiming the infant passed away due to spending too much time in the care of nannies.

On Friday, Errol attempted to clarify his statements in an interview with The New York Times, insisting that his remarks were taken out of context and maintaining that he and Elon remained on good terms.

However, Vivian responded to the article with a scathing post to her 140,000 followers, calling Errol a “complete psychopath” and dismissing most of his statements as falsehoods. She further accused him of being a “racist” and a “literal groomer” while criticizing the Times for amplifying his voice.

Deleted Posts and Explosive Accusations

In her now-deleted post, Vivian wrote: “If someone has children with his stepdaughter, has murdered people, and is a huge racist (alongside many other things I can’t say publicly), maybe don’t give them a platform or repeat what they have said.”

She emphasized that she had no interest in Errol’s opinions or statements and urged the media not to give him further attention. Though she later removed the post, screenshots have continued to circulate on social media.

Vivian has been vocal about her grievances with the Musk family, particularly her estranged relationship with Elon. In her latest post, she referenced Errol’s controversial past without naming him directly, calling attention to his marriage to his former stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout, with whom he has two children.

She also alluded to a 1998 shootout at Errol’s Johannesburg rental property, where he faced manslaughter charges but was later acquitted. Errol has previously denied ever intentionally harming anyone.

Family Tensions and Errol’s Controversial Claims

Vivian concluded her post by stating that she would not address the issue again, reinforcing her belief that Errol should not be given a platform.

The controversy follows Errol’s recent remarks criticizing Elon’s parenting and referencing Nevada’s tragic death. Nevada, Elon’s first child with ex-wife Justine Musk, died at 10 weeks old in 2002 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Errol suggested that excessive reliance on nannies played a role in the tragedy and further alleged that Elon rarely spent time with his children. His comments went viral, prompting him to later claim that the press had misrepresented his words.

Musk and Shivon Zilis brought their three-year-old twins Strider and Azure along with X to a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi this week

Elon and Justine Musk were married from 2000 to 2008 and had five children together after Nevada’s passing, including twins Xavier and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Xavier later transitioned to become Vivian. Elon has since fathered additional children with Canadian singer Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

Both Elon and Justine have spoken openly about the grief of losing Nevada. Elon has previously condemned the use of child deaths for political or personal gain, while Justine detailed her experience in a Marie Claire essay, recounting the heartbreaking moment she held her son as he passed away.

Elon, who has fathered 12 children with three women, has often joked about his goal of repopulating the world. Recently, some of his younger children, including Strider and Azure, appeared alongside him in Washington, D.C., during a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, drawing media attention.
